National Abandoned Infants Assistance Resource Center – 2012

A summary of AIA-funded projects designed to address the needs of young children and families affected by substance abuse (including prenatal exposure) and/or HIV. Provides an overview and history of the organization and its projects. Bulk of document is a listing of the projects in alphabetical order, outlining each project’s history and overview, service delivery model, staffing, community collaboration, and evaluation/outcomes. Each listing also includes project contact information. A majority of the programs profiled focus on serving substance-using mothers and pregnant women and their infants and toddlers.
