A multidisciplinary medical response protocol covering both drug endangered and drug exposed children. Provides recommendations for law enforcement, child protection, and medical personnel. First section outlines procedures for children found in drug exposed settings. Outlines recommended actions for the above three disciplines. Second section lists procedures for children found in a (non-lab) drug endangered setting (illicit drugs found/used, chemicals stored, children exposed). This section outlines both immediate and follow-up actions to be taken by the three disciplines. Refers reader to level 1 protocol for children found in clandestine drug labs.
