What We Do

We provide direct resources, training, and tools to professionals across multiple disciplines—law enforcement, social services, educators, and healthcare providers— ensuring they are equipped to identify and intervene on behalf of drug-endangered children. Our Crisis Bags are also distributed to children experiencing trauma to help them heal.

Training: Deliver training for professionals to help them identify, intervene on behalf of, and support drug-endangered children.

Build and sustain DEC alliances who can provide help, hope and support to the children and families within their communities.

Resources: NADEC has a wealth of handouts, guides and tools for those seeking to help.

CheckDEC App: Free app that connects families and professionals to substance abuse related info, crisis helplines and local support services.
